In social science class, age 17, the teacher delivers chapter on human rights. She is a high qualified in academic and pedagogy skills teacher. During the lecture time, she referes to human rights as deserved by all humans, no matter the nation, religion, economic status, sex orientation, social backgound etc. Among several examples, she gives one about refugees and a student opposes her. The teacher starts to explain however the student expresses himself rudly about the refugees and finally threatens the teacher that she “will have to deal with his mother about the ideas which she teaches”.
\nThe next day, a woman intrudes the teacher’s classroom at the time she has just finished a class, while some students are still in the classroom and the door is open. She is the mother of the students who threatened her the day before. She agressively comes very close to the teacher, pushes her and starts judging her for “defending the refugees who are dirty monkeys”. She continues characterising this way, shouting that the teacher does not worth to have this job. One student was left behind and witnesed the episode.
\nFuriously the woman left the class and stopped by the headmaster’s office where she reported the teacher for inapropriate behavior, for talking about refugees human rights.
\nSome minutes later, the teacher still in shock informed the headmaster and some colleagues. They all looked either awkward or embarrassed to stand by her. The teacher reported the incident to the Directorate of Secondary Education. No action took place neither from the administration authority nor the teachers\u2019 board.
