<\/a><\/p>\nAnother activity related to the AMELIE program and the rhetoric of hatred took place on the occasion of the Panhellenic Day against School Violence that has been established and is celebrated on March 6 in all schools in the country.
\nOn the occasion of this day,\u00a0 the B2 class, quite mature children were informed about\u00a0 the concept of school bullying and decided to discuss the concept of empathy.<\/p>\n
On March 8, 2022, the psychologist, Paraskevi Dionysiou from the local center EXPRESSION – CENTER FOR PREVENTION OF ADDICTION AND PROMOTION OF PSYCHO-SOCIAL HEALTH XANTHIS was invited, in order to\u00a0 introduce “empathy” psychology. They realized that they might find themselves in the position to be bullied or to\u00a0 intimidate and\u00a0 bully their classmates if they lack empathy, that is, if they cannot put themselves in the other person’s shoes and understand the effects of school bulling and cyberbullying on psychology of their adolescent classmates.<\/p>\n
The material produced is the following poster, which was eventually printed in 250 copies – stickers designed by the students as a group against\u00a0 hate speech on the internet.
\nThe stickers were used in our school’s Information Campaign as our creative students will address their classmates in our school’s Grade Day by sending the message of awareness against hate speech on the internet.<\/p>\n
